The RUPES D-A Fine yellow foam pad is the polishing step of the RUPES D-A system. It removes light swirls and haze left after cutting and refines the paint to a high-gloss finish, especially when paired with RUPES D-A Fine compound. Contour-edge design, 180mm (7in) face on a 150mm (6in) backing for 6in backing plates, made for large-stroke polishers like the RUPES LHR21ES. Sold as a single pad.

How To Use:

• Center the pad on a 6in (150mm) backing plate and press firmly so the hook-and-loop locks in.
• Prime the pad with 4–5 pea-size drops of compound and spread at low speed.
• Work a 2x2 ft section in slow, overlapping passes with light to moderate pressure.
• Wipe off residue with a clean microfiber towel and inspect; clean the pad often with a pad brush or compressed air.
